[ART] With turkey time subsiding, Allentown/downtown galleries are back into the swing of things with a full slate of First Friday openings. Alexandra Martin’s has paintings the Manuel Barreto Gallery (430 Delaware Avenue) that reflect on some travelling she’s done recently. TGW@497 Gallery (497 Franklin Street) has a group show featuring Russell Ram, Jane Bergenn, Joan Fitzgerald, and many more. Over at Glow Gallery (224 Allen Street) UB student Lingxiang Wu is exhibiting photographs while next door at Prism, Loop magazine will be celebrating its 50th issue.  Up the street at Indigo Art Gallery (47 Allen Street) Colleen Toledano’s unveiling some gorgeous new work in a show called Flux. And while you’re there, check out some reimagined “toys” on display across the street at Studio Hart (65 Allen Street). If you’re stolling further downtown, stop in to MJ Peterson’s (431 Delaware Avenue) annual art show and holiday party with work by Scotty Bye, Fotini Galas, and more. And there’s a new show at the Queen City Gallery (617 Main Street) with work from Neil Mahar, Chris McGee,Tim Raymond, Eileen Pleasure, Eric Evinczik, and many more to look through as well.
