[PANEL DISCUSSION] The country’s current dysfunction has been decades in the making. How bad is it? What can we the people do? The League of Women Voters of Buffalo/Niagara will explore this important topic in a panel discussion titled Our Damaged Democracy: Can We Fix It? The free program, nspired by Joseph A. Califano Jr.’s recent book, Our Damaged Democracy: We the People Must Act, will take place on Monday, October 1, at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site. The panelists are three political science professors: James Campbell of UB, Peter Yacobucci of Canisius College, and Jamie Pimlott of Niagara University.
