[SOLO] The concept is simple; 10 musicians will each be given five minutes to solo, twice. Presented by Hallwalls Contemporary Arts center, 10x5x2 combines genres, musicians, and sounds of all kinds into a unique show. The performers, Kelly Bucheger, Tim Clarke, Andy Czuba, Brian DeJesus, Liz Holland, Megan Kyle, Nola Ranallo, Joe Rozler, Pam Swarts, and Katie Weismann, will all play different instruments, from saxophone to guitar, piano, cello, voice, and percussion. One soloer will solo on electronics. Their performances will be accompanied by color coded video projections and the performers will be asked to perform in random order. The event, a fundraiser for continued concert programming at Hallwalls will take place on Thursday, September 1 at Asbury Hall and attendees are encouraged to make a $10 suggested donation.
