[JAZZ] JJ Quintet is a jazz band headed by trumpet player Jacob Jay—and presumably also where their namesake comes from. Joined by sax player Dalton Sharp, piano player Jake Malone-Brancato, bassist Ed Croft, and drummer Stephen Lattimore, Jay and company play original songs as well as jazz standards. They’ll be joined for their show on Thursday, May 4 at the 9th Ward by award winning vocalist Shaun Doyle, who will sing original arrangements from the Great American Songbook.
