[CHORAL MUSIC] Always looking for new wrinkles to bring into their performances, Harmonia Chamber Singers are bringing in the talents of composer Stacey Gibbs for their next concert called Rise Up, a late-winter collection of songs meant to inspire and uplift. Known for their a capella renditions of choral music, hymns, and devotional pieces composed throughout the centuries, the group will perform a world premier in one Gibbs’s new compositions and fill the First Baptist Shiloh Church with their light and energy this Saturday. Joining Harmonia will be the guest choirs from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, Frederick Law Olmsted High School, and the Charter School for Applied Technologies.
