[ROCK] With a triple-guitar attack, solid rhythm section and Ronnie Van Zant’s vocals, Lynyrd Skynyrd topped the Southern rock scene in the 1970s. Though their success was leveled with the premature deaths of several original members (including Van Zant) they haven’t retired their Old Glory leather jackets just yet. They continue to tour with Johnny Van Zant filling his brother’s shoes. Catch Lynyrd Skynyrd with the Tommy Z Band at Artpark on Tuesday, July 19.
