[POP] Sir Sly makes seriously stellar “sly-fi” music, a brand of Arcade Fire-y indie pop music with plenty of psychedelic influence and dance potential. Check out the band’s latest music video for their song “High,” which is chock full of face melting dance choreography, and just plain fun, hook electro pop vibes. If this was 10 years ago we might call them blog house and throw “High” onto our iPods alongside tracks Hot Chip and Friendly Fires, but Sir Sly are not just a rehash, more of a slick, fresh take on the genre, occasionally running into downtempo trip hop and straight up alt rock territory. Catch the three piece, L.A.-based rock band when they come to the Town Ballroom for a show on Monday, June 25.
