[PUNK] You may recall, California quartet Face to Face blew up considerably in the mid-1990s with the single “Disconnected,” included on the Tank Girl Soundtrack. Now several years into reuniting after a hiatus—during which front man Trevor Keith played in Legion of Doom and drummer Pete Parada joined the Offspring (he’s now replaced by Uprising’s Danny Thompson)—Face to Face is gearing up to record a new disc this fall. In the meanwhile, they’ve been dazzling longtime fans with a series of “Triple Crown” shows, playing the first three F2F discs in their entirety. It’s unclear if that’s the format for their gig at the Waiting Room on Tuesday, May 26, but the band is known to really deliver the goods in a live setting regardless. Wolf Tickets and On the Cinder play in support.
