[POP] When The Public interviewed pop artist K Flay in March of last year, she told us that her most recent single at the time, “Blood in the Cut” was written in her mom’s basement in about 30 minutes. Since then that song was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Song and the young artist has toured with huge pop artists like Imagine Dragons. It’s safe to say that K Flay is bound for ever greater things. Her highly danceable amalgamation of pop and rock has landed her a deal with Interscope Records, in which she released her full length record, Every Where is Some Where in 2017. Her most recent work is as a featured artist on a newly released track by electronic music producer Robert DeLong titled “Favorite Color is Blue.” Catch K Flay at the Town Ballroom where the 32-year-old musician will play a headlining gig on Tuesday, March 13 with support from pop act Yungblud.
