[PERFORMANCE ART] A collection of anonymous desires collected and then hand-written on mounted paper will line the walls of Big Orbit Gallery on Thursday evening. It’s the latest fundraising engagement from Tina Dillman and her Project Grant, the ambitious artist’s residency she launched out of her home on Grant Street a year ago. Dillman seeks artists who find ways to engage community and offer subversive and transgressive methods to raise larger social questions, so Thursday’s shindig fits form nicely. The desires will be available for $25/each with a maximum buy of three, and framing services will be available on site courtesy of the Benjaman Gallery. Patrons with bigger hearts and eyes will be able to purchase limited edition handmade artist books for considerably more, otherwise the event is free to the public.
