Holiday Shop & Give

5pm-7pm at Renew Bath and Body, 927 Elmwood Ave.

Join embraceWNY for wine and hors d’oeuvres while shopping the store’s selection of natural and organic wares. The shop is donating 20 percent of all sales during the event back to the organization, which funds education scholarships for students promoting acceptance and inclusion in Western New York, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.


 

 FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16 
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

5pm-10pm at The MOCHA Center, 1092 Main St.

Sequins, ribbons and fringe galore! Wear your ugliest holiday sweater to this inaugural event full of holiday cheer and fun. Light refreshments will be served.


 FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16 — 18 
Customer Appreciation Weekend
10pm-4am at Club Marcella, 439 Pearl St.

The club celebrates its patrons by bringing the best parts of its opening year back to life — 1995 cover ($3, >21; $5, <21) and drink prices (for most drinks and beers). VIPs are free, all night long.


 SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17 
LGBTQ Holiday Bazaar

10am-5pm at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth, 208 North St.

Multiple vendors selling art, jewelry, crafts and more, plus live music by Jay Aquarious and Willow Groks. Please bring a donation of $2 to Plymouth Crossroads, a youth housing and homeless shelter in Lancaster, or an item from the group’s wishlist, available at plymouthcrossroads.org.


 SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17 

Christmas Party
6pm-4am at Cathode Ray, 26 Allen St.


Cathode Ray’s annual Christmas Party is always very Mary. Join Buffalo’s longest-running gay bar for hors d’oeuvres, drink specials, gifts and more.
