Newish Star – You Missed Everything Part 1 (LP) RIYL: Archers of Loaf, Sebadoh The ever-busy pop punk trio shared the front half of its latest album early last week. The six tracks were mixed by John Angelo and feature contributions from Failures’ Union front man Tony Flaminio.

Total Yuppies – “Normal Life” (Song) RIYL: Neva Dinova, the Front Bottoms, Bryan Johnson & Family The newly formed garage pop act released its catchy debut single at the beginning of the month. The Rochester quartet features members of Skirts, Full Body, and Jon Lewis Band.
