Empire Premiere Watch Party
8–10 at The MOCHA Center, 1092 Main St.

Watch the Season 2 premiere of Fox’s hit show Empire, about a terminally ill music mogul looking to pass his empire down to one of his sons — and one of his sons happens to be gay. Doors open at 8 p.m. with light refreshments. Show starts at 9 p.m. Watch parties all season long.


 THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24 
Soundwave with Babik and The Albrights
8PM at Kleinhans Music Hall, 3 Symphony Cir.

Join The Albrights in a career benchmark performance with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, a symphonic mash-up of indie rock, cutting-edge classical and Gypsy jazz with favorites like “Zion Man” and “Soundwave.” Students, $10; general admission, $20; includes a free beverage and slice of pizza.


 SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26 
Queen City Softball League Banquet
6–9PM at Troop I’s Hamlin House, 432 Franklin St.

The Main Drag with The Fem Follies
