Downtown Happy Hour Picks from Loupe

by / Aug. 31, 2016 1am EST

For many the most joyous time of day is the wind down that happens after work and before dinner. Sometimes it’s a sweet thing when happy hour blends right into dinner, but for that to happen you need just the right spot. Downtown workers, we’ve got some options for you.

 Oshun
5 E. Huron St, Buffalo, oshunseafood.com

Oshun is so chipper, it celebrates happy hour on Sundays. We love that. From noon to 3 p.m. mimosas, well drinks, and bloody marys are BOGO. The rest of the week happy hour features edible specials ($3 fish tacos! $1 oysters!), so stay tuned to Oshun’s Facebook page for updates.

 The Century Grill
318 Pearl St, Buffalo, thecenturygrill.com

Century consistently wins awards for its happy hour, where drink specials are just the beginning. We’re crazy about the baskets of bacon that sometimes hit the bar and every Friday it’s all about tots, as in tater, the only kind of tot anyone ever needs.

 Handlebar
149 Swan St, Buffalo, handlebarpub.com

This super cute bicycle themed pub serves healthy bar fare and a broad range of craft beers. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday and features $3 pints of local brews.
