Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts is Looking for Volunteers

by / Aug. 10, 2015 12pm EST

The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts, the annual art festival that takes place on the streets of the Elmwood Village, is looking for volunteers. The festival, which takes place Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30 is looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities to help with the general set up of the festival. To volunteer, email Katherine Pessecow at eafvolunteering@gmail.com. From organizer Katherine Pessecow:

“The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts is made up an amazing group of people that dedicate their time, effort, and passion into making the festival happen each year. Without our volunteers and leadership, the weekend of the 29th and 30th would just be another busy weekend on Elmwood. We are currently in need of the volunteers we need to keep our beloved festival alive and well. Please help us this year by showing your love and support for Buffalo’s first festival to focus on local artists, musicians, and cultural and environmental organizations. Did I mention we were also the first Buffalo street festival to recycle, compost, use a solar powered stage, and offer cognitive craft making for kids?! The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts needs YOUR help! Volunteers, likes, and shares appreciated!! Thanks and Much Love, Katherine Pessecow, Volunteer Coordinator.”
