Centerfold: Buffalo Unconference

by / Apr. 15, 2015 12am EST

BUFFALO UNCONFERENCE—which takes place this Saturday, April 18 at D!G, the shared workspace in the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus’s Innovation Center—promises to bring together a host of young tech innovators, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and others who hope to nurture and benefit from a burgeoning sector of the Western New York economy. Attendees are encouraged not only to listen to presentations but to suggest subjects and make presentations themselves. “Innovation happens when you bring people together from different backgrounds, with different experiences, and encourage conversations about the concepts they care about,” says event organizer Clark Dever.

In advance of the conference, we worked with Dever to assemble and photograph some of those who have made an significant impact in the tech sector here. Drone photography was provided by Todd Salansky of Norris Clifton Aerial Photography.
